LOCATED OFF State Park Road IN ALLEGANY PARK

After years as a walk-up, a rope tow and then a portable tow was added to assist skiers. In 1956, a Pomagalski B-12 was installed which had its share of problems. This, one of the earliest start-ups in western NY, remained small until its end in 1981. It offered three open slopes and one trail. A 204 foot vertical descent was skied weekend day, nights and holiday periods.
