In its time, this start-up was a balanced venture. Fitted with a Riblet double chairlift, three t-bars, snowmaking and night skiing, it was ahead of its time. The mountain offered a 500 foot vertical drop on its northwestern exposure. To complete the package, the base lodge had an attached hotel.

This area operated from January 1960 to February 11th, 1963. The area inconsistently operated under two other owners with its final days in March 1978.
