This was the first ski area to make snow on a full time basis. After successful testing at Grossingers, ski pioneer, Bill Gilbert, created this start-up, a short drive from NYC. Uphill lifts were a T-bar, a pomagalski and two rope tows servicing a vertical drop of 200 feet. |
