This start-up never really started up. Landholders had planned to build a ski area on two small knolls. The initial cut created a rectangular area where a rope tow was to be installed. A lodge, ticket sales, and tow enclosure buildings were erected. After looking at the high cost of insurance, the lodge was converted to a bar and behind it, a trailer park. |
