Bob P. (Skileader on Snow Journal) says:
I spent quite a bit of time there in the 70s. The owner of the skiing company for whom I worked loved the place. It had a great beginner slope (Pink Cloud). The rest was a waste of time, except for a lively bar. I used to say I hate the place with a (Purple Passion) their expert slope. Werner Kuhn the head of the ski patrol was a good, and busy guy. A local Dr. rented a van and took care of all their injuries on weekends. He worked alone, so I spent a lot of time holding kids legs in the right position while Dr. Costentino wrapped his plaster. Eventualy a guy named Fleishman (of the margarine fame) bought each of his sons a ski area. One got Mt. Snow and one Davos. I always wondered what #2 did to piss daddy off.

Dec. 1961 Snow Report refers to it just as Davos: 7 slopes. 2 trails and is served by 2 chairs, 2 lifts and 1 tow. Has snow maker. Fees, $3 weekdays. $4.50 weekends and holidays.
