PASSINGS

In this corridor, places to ski received their springboard as a direct result of the upstate start-ups. Rope tows were installed as a novelty to capture interest in skiing.  Operation of these areas was limited in overall longevity with SNOWMAKING an absolute necessity . Local families experimented with the sport before trekking north to experience what skiing downhill really was.
