ADDISON-PINNACLE

LOCATED OFF Either end of Pinnacle Road IN ADDISON

In 1972, with use of the golf course club house and the water used to water the greens, this creatively designed ski area began operating in Pinnacle State Park. There was eight ways down served by a rope tow, T-bar and a uniquely set-up B-12 Pomagalski with a floating bull wheel. Its entire 700 foot vertical drop was available to be skied every night until 1978. For one year there after, Cornell YMCA used this area to teach skiing.
